Long term pothole

Pothole has been here for a year or more. Not too deep, but causes loss of traction going round the corner and up the hill which is not a good idea. How long does it take to identify an fix a pothole?

This hole has been around for ages (a year or more). Used to be small and just caused the traction control to kick in. Now getting bigger and needs to be avoided, which means drivers are forced onto the wrong side of the road going up the hill with a blind corner at the top. Not safe. But none of Surrey's roads are safe! What do they spend my council tax on?
