Please can you arrange for the flashing slow down sign on Huddersfield Road Brighouse at the junction with Lyndhurst Grove Road to be fixed. It no longer works when speeding Vehicles pass it. Thank you

I refer to your e mail to our Customer First service with regards to the vehicle activated signs (VAS) on Huddersfield Road.

A scheme is being prepared to replace the VASs on Huddersfield Road with the new signs on high visi backing boards and school flashing amber units. It is felt that this is a better road safety option in that the school flashing ambers will be activated around school opening and closing times. This scheme is being progressed in conjunction with Calderdale MBCs Road Safety team and I would expect the scheme to be complete by May.

I hope this is satisfactory to you.

Regards and thanks
