Dog fouling

At the end of December I reported an issue with dog fouling on the footpath leading from Sweetpool Lane. An attempt has been made to clear the path and a bin for dog mess has been placed at the entrance to the pathway. I visited the path again today, and notice that dog owners are still allowing their pets to foul this area. Apart from this being anti social, it is surely a health hazard for adults and particularly for children. As it is at the moment this path is mainly a dogs toilet area.

An attempt has been made to educate dog owners in their responsibility regarding their animals. This has resulted in some improvement, but there is still an issue with dog fouling.
