Dangerously potholed pavements on Leander Road and Josephine Avenue

Reported in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 01:20, Sat 30 January 2010
Sent to Lambeth Borough Council 4 minutes later

The pavements on Leander Road and Josephine Avenue are heavily potholed and are very uneven to walk along. The only "improvement" work I have noticed in the past 4 years that I have lived here is that a tree at the Josephine Avenue end of Leander Road has been removed, and the hole filled in with tarmac that has now sunk, leaving a large pothole.

How come Appach Road gets brand new paving, yet Josephine Avenue which is a much greater used pavement, is still being patched with tarmac. It looks a right mess and is dangerous.

well they've now put in another tree a couple of metres down from the pothole left by the first one, but the pavements are even worse that before...
