Noisey manhole cover

Man hole cover (Thames water) in the middle of the Bickley Park Road (at rear of 13 Alpine Copse) is poorly fitting. Cars travelling at speed, hit it every few seconds causing a very loud,metallic, double "BANG, BANG". This is making extremely intrusive and can be heard inside my double glazed house!

Not a pretty fix - tarmac dumped over manhole cover - but very effective. No noise now - thanks Bromley Council :-)
