The amount of dog dirt has become increasing to a point where we are cleaning the front pavement daily :( with 2 children this is a problem especial when taking them to nursery along carnforth and broadstone hall road. We dont feel we can allow our children the freedom to walk ahead or to scoot or cycle along the pavements due to this increasing problem. Even at the nursery gates some inconsiderate dog owners leave there polite message so the children walk it into school/nursery. Approaching dog owners that do foul is also an issue due to the instant abuse and attitude of 'well clean it up yourself if u dont like it' We do BUT why should we. And why allow there dog to foul either in the middle of the pavement or within the gates of a property, at least drag the dog to the side so it is not trampled along the drive/pavement. Or shock horror actualy pick it up! I could rant all day on this subject and feel sad that it has become an issue/talking point among residents and at the nursery doors.

We recently became owners of a small dog which i take for walks to the field at the end of carnforth road.On the way to the field you cannot but help notice the amount of dog dirt on the pavements it is unbeliveable. I clean up after our dog so why don't other people. Its not fair on us and of course the kids in the area. I once worked with a chap that got some in his eye, he then developed health problems and in the end it was the cause of his death. All dog owners should be made aware that dog dirt is dangerous stuff.I see many good dog owners but once again we pay the price of the few who don't care.
Just walked my son to Broadstone Nursery along Carnforth road and Broadstone Hall road North and the amount of dog fouling is disgusting with some being walked into the pavement and I know for a fact one log that has sat there all week and weekend :( When will the owners grow up and take responsibility for the their dogs :( Please Stockport council seen as you are supposed to be one of the best councils remember that Heaton Chapel is also in SK4 as well as Mersey and Moor and we are not the poor neighbours provide an equal service to all the sk4 areas... yes i could go onto other issues like the state of Keswick Road and the appauling road surface or the lack of curb drop downs that have been implemented in the whole of SK4 except the area to the North of Broadstone road.
