Road deterioration

The road surface at the bottom of Greenmount Lane has been deteriorating over the last twelve months, but after the recent bad weather the potholes have gotten much worse and are now very bad indeed. I have often witnessed cars in the middle of the road as they have been trying (understandably) to avoid the sever potholes. The road is only going to get worse as more traffic passes over the deteriorating and now fragile road surface. Not only is this road in poor condition, but many of the surrounding support roads are in an equally poor state. I would very much like to be informed if the local council have plans to remedy the situation with an urgently required programe of road repair in this area.
