The light dims and then brightens every 5 seconds, and seems to have been getting worse in terms of the variance of luminosity.

Received the following by email today:

Dear Mr Booth,

Thank you very much for getting in touch with us and notifying us about the faulty street light.

I have today (18/01) notified our contractors about the fault and they have informed me that they are due to examine the light by Friday 22/01.

Please understand that due to recent weather conditions there is a back log of faults which the department are working their way through as quickly as possible.

Please do not hesitate to contact me again should the problems continue.
