I am writing this at 5:40am. New street lighting installed in front of my house is way too bright. Its keeping me awake at night and since its been installed I've become a very light sleeper. I was wondering if anything can be done about it e.g. blackened out Thanks

New street lights have been installed which are much brighter than the previous ones, making it hard to sleep at night. It's like having a floodlight on the street - just one of these lamps is so bright it felt like daytime at 10.30pm.

The light was still on in full sunshine at 8am this morning. Can the light be dimmed and better timed to switch off in daylight?
