Very Poor surface on footpath

Sent to Flintshire Council 3 minutes later

Army lane is a vital footpath linking the 150+houses on Forest Walk to Chester Road. It is very muddy, full of dog muck and undergrowth needs clearing. It has been reported to the Council. The probation service have been out and clipped some of the undergrowth but they left all the waste. It is a mess. It needs clearing and a new surface laying to allow it to be used all year around. Lets reduce people getting in their cars just to nip up the road. Thank you.

The footpath has been cleansed and the undergrowth has been cut back. The small wet areas have been attended to and the surface is up to an acceptable footpath standard.

The footpath has had some road planings put in a couple of places. Unfortunately this is limited and the majority of the footpath is still very muddy. The verge is heavily contaminated with dog mess and hasn't been cleansed as stated.

The footpath was cleansed as stated and on a second inspection the verges were found to be heavily contaminated once again due to irresponsible dog owners. Flintshire County Council do not have the resources to clean the footpath every day. I have requested that a dog bin be installed in this location, and this has been passed to our Environmental Services Section in Queensferry. The section of footpath that your refer to from Forest Walk to the A549 is suitable for a Public Footpath.
