Grit Bin

There used to be a grit bin, at the bottom of the road, which is now gone. The residents of this road all live on hill and I have seen many people including myself struggling to drive up because of compacted ice. It is dangerous. If the grit bin was still there I would have gritted the road myself but it is not so I cannot.Please can something be done about this very soon. Thank you.
