Misuse of grit on Highway

Thank you, great to see part of Springvale Grove gritted(not the T end)5+ hospital nurses, paramedic and police staff all resident on cul-de-sac working long shifts, struggling to get home at all not least back on to the street. It was sickening therefore to see the misuse of highway grit this morning, a senior citizen (not a resident) removing the small amount of grit on the middle of the T to de ice the private parking space of number 22. When a passerby tried to spread the grit out on the road the senior citizen continued to dig it up with snow from around her feet. They should know better, grit on the road is not for personnel use and is treated as theft!
