Water splash from road hollow

Reported in the Roads/highways category by Alan Nolan at 22:56, Tue 5 January 2010
Sent to Lancashire County Council 4 minutes later

There is a deep hollow which fills with water, in the road just near Aughton Park station.

When cars or lorries drive past near the sidewalk, they frequently create a large splash which covers people walking to or from the station. In the current slushy conditions, this is made even worse.

The council sent me an e-mail asking for the name of the road where the problem exists. Since then, I have heard nothing.

With the recent rains, the puddle is back and passing cars, lorries and buses are splashing people again.
