Grit Bin

Whilst I appreciate the gritters can't cover everywhere, the road up to the station in Burley in Wharfedale is trecherous in the snow and ice, at a time when use is at a premium because using the car is out. If we can't have the road gritted, could we at least have a filled grit bin so we can do it ourselves? Or is there a list of locally placed grit bins?
