Beechwood Park Holmfield Halifax

This whole park is becoming nothing more than a disgusting dog toilet!!! I live vey near this park and walk my own dogs on there daily. When my dogs eliminate I clean it and place it in one of the 4 shoddy bins provided for that purpose. Most of the local dog owners also clean up after their own dogs although unfortunately this does not apply to all of them. The vast majority of dog walkers from outside the area, arrive in cars, allow their dogs to run riot all over the park whilst under no control whatsoever and when these dogs foul the lovely park, they pretend that they have not seen it and continue along their way and eventually drive off back to their own houses leaving their mess behind for the locals to enjoy standing in. We need new dog bins in greater quantity, lots of signs warning people of the need to clean up after their dogs or face a fine AND someone from Calderdale to walk round and keep and eye out for offenders. Only 25% of the UK population own dogs and we wonder why the oher 75% have so much against them??? Come on people...it takes seconds to clean up!!

As expected...NOTHING done at the present time. The snow is now melting, he UNgritted roads leading to the area are now starting to clear and once again the dog owners from out of the area are returning to top up the dog toilet. Seen no less than 4 of them no clearing up today

Not only has Calderdale council done absolutely NOTHING about this problem, the issue is now spreading to public footpaths along the roads in the surrounding area!! For some reason I am not suprised nothing has been done...why??? IT never IS!!!!
