Water from the leak at Inches Shop plus rain water is coming back up into the road from a drain due to a blockage further down.

Road signs have been erected indicating work will commence on the 22 Feb 2010 with five weeks road closure involved.

Road signs were erected informing that the road would be closed for 5 weeks from 22/02/10.These disappeared about 1 week ago (possibly vandalised) and the work hasn't commenced, unless the yellow and white paint markings put down today are relative. 19.15 26/02/10

Road closed this am : 01/03/10.One A4 notification poster advising "up to four weeks closure". Only one exit available now from Bude town centre in direction of Barnstaple. This will also involve delays due to road works along the Strand, traffic light controlled.
