Why is there no salt bins in swalwell.I have been trying to clear the snow in the back lane of richmond avenue for a week,and have been hindered by the lack of salt bins in my local area.I have seen many of them in whickham and we used to have some in swalwell by not anymore, why? CAn you please remedy this immediately, as we are having problems pushing my granddaughters buggy up and down our street because of it

I received a mail from the council confirming they would leave a salt dump at the bottom of my street, but as yet, nearly 4 weeks later it has not been done. I have checked the local area and they have refilled various bins, so stock does not seem to be the issue.

I received a mail from the council at the time promising a salt dump would be left at the bottom of my street, however some 8 weeks later they still have not done this.
