Terrible Road Condition

The current road condition of Dale road and Ridge avenue is heading towards 3rd world conditions. After a recent trip to africa, i found the roads there to be on par if not better than what we are dealing with. Pot holes small kids can fall into, the road surface degrading to an extent we are no longer driving on tar. It begs the question, why are we continuing to pay council tax for no upkeep of the road and how long before there is a serious accident due to the poor road surface.
