Difficulty to exit my property

Reported in the Car parking category anonymously at 16:47, Sat 19 December 2009
Sent to Bromley Borough Council 2 minutes later

The parking spaces designated in front of 16 Rodway Road are not sufficient for two family size cars. Consequently cars park bumper to bumper and frequently overhang the parking space and my drive. With the parking space also just across the road from my drive, it can be very difficult to exit my property. Request the parking space infront of my house be reduced to allow one car to park so I can safely drive in and out of my property

Please be advised that the Council is planning to review the existing 'A', 'B' and 'C' controlled parking zones (CPZ) in Bromley later this year and we will look to either add, remove or alter parking bays and yellow lines from information gathered from our own surveys and in consultation with residents and businesses.

Please note that the review of these parking zones will involve a considerable amount of work and time, as the Traffic Section will need to undertake and analyse parking surveys, before any designs can be drawn up or consultations with residents and businesses be undertaken. However, your request will be retained on file and will be looked into once the surveys have been undertaken.
