This section of the road down the steep section of Chat Hill Road is dangerous and there have been several recent accidents (one fatal) due the condition and narrowness of the road. The road surface is in bad repair (bumpy, potholes and bodged repairs) and needs fully resurfacing. The lighting in the area is particularly poor for a twisty narrow road.
