Poor phasing of lights

Reported in the Traffic lights category by Mike Davis at 09:52, Fri 4 December 2009
Sent to Bristol City Council 2 minutes later

When driving south on Wells Road and turning west onto Airport Road, when the lights change to amber, it does not stay on amber long enough. You can be turning right on an amber light and the traffic coming towards you starts to pull away as the north facing lights has turned green.

It took two weeks for someone from the council to reply only to say that my query had been passed on to the relevant department. I then contacted that department and was told that my query would be answered in 12 days. Typical council bureaucracy.

BCC still have not changed the phasing of the traffic lights.
