Near misses

White-painted junction marks on the road surface at the junction of Arden Mhor with Wrenwood Way would be helpful. Traffic exiting Arden Mhor towards Catlins Lane often speeds out of the junction with no care for traffic moving up or down Wrenwood Way. It seems logical that the road markings should lie across the opening of Arden Mhor rather than across Wrenwood Way. There have been too many near-misses. Does there have to actually be an accident before this observation is acted upon? I am by no means the only complainant. Many thanks.

This matter is already in the hands of Caroline Haywood at Improvement Projects, Road Safety Programme ref: CH/1/00400 1/17750. Many thanks Jane Smith

PS The junction markings at Wrenwood Way/Catlins Lane are almost obliterated.
