Footpath blocked by gate

Sent to Hackney Borough Council less than a minute later

The footpath on Lamb Lane is entirely blocked by a gate (from the exit of the carwash based at Unit 382 on Mentmore Terrace). If you are pushing a buggy or wheelchair you can't get along here at all, and other people are forced onto the road. The guys running the carwash are not helpful and won't move the gate inward. Council wrote saying they would investigate (six months ago) but the situation has not improved - in fact it has got worse, gate left open for longer hours.

Absolutely no change has taken place! It is stunning that officers at Hackney Council (whose HQ is just around the corner)have chosen to do nothing to stop this unlawful practice. See my latest photo!
