Hazell Hill is a road with the entrance to Ranelagh School on it. The pupils leave all their fast food wrappers and drink containers in gutters and on the pavements. It is a total mess, the council were asked two weeks ago to do a litter pick, but sadly failed to do so. The school also promised to speak to their sixth formers, but again failed to act. So in fact the road on both sides is a total mess, made worse by wind and rain. Please help.

No. Problem, sadly has not been fixed. Sixth formers still eat fast food lunches and leave their packaging on pavement, also smoke all day dropping stubbs and packets behind. Council promised to put litter bin by school entrance, and then backtracked, saying that it was too expensive. Thankfully, we have Christmas hols coming up, so I will do litter pick and we will be OK until early January.
Obviously, weather has caused difficulty in an eye on problem. But Council do not care about positioning new litter bins, or litter picking. Council, also do not not grit the road in adverse conditions. School promise to speak to 6th formers regarding fast food, lunch packaging, and cigarette packages, but to no avail. Bearing in mind, there is a school entrance, plus zillions of parents parking badly twice a day, you wood think that the council, would try an keep the road clean !!!
There is often a 'one off ' fix to the litter and emptying of litter bins. Sadly this is it, and we are back to square one, with full bins, and sixformers from Ranelagh dropping their Mayfair cigarette packs and fast food bags and drink beakers. In the end it is less stressful to do the litter pick myself !
Hazell Hill, outside Ranelagh School entrance - what a mess, litter everywhere. Council never do a 'litter pick' and school just don't care. There are fast food wrappers and beakers etc everywhere. A litter pick was done by one person just prior to term recommencing. How do we sort this issue? Parents park amongst litter and never get out of their cars to pick rubbish up.
Ranelagh pupils back at school so Hazell Hill and Woodridge close once again look like an inner city slum with cigarette butts bottles paper towels the list is endless, The headmistress should be held responsible for their dirty deeds, they wear the uniform representing her school she should make them pick it up and not rely on the council or the residents to do her dirty work.
