Tyres dumped

Reported in the Flytipping category by P Dopping-Hepenstal at 13:52, Sat 14 November 2009
Sent to Lambeth Borough Council 3 minutes later

There is a huge pile of tyres that has been dumped in the cul-de-sac adjacent to the junction of Crimsworth Road and Thorparch Road. This has been there for several weeks and some tyres have been moved by kids to other areas of the adjacent streets. Lambeth Council has been informed by local residents but no action has been taken. Residents are concerned that there is a severe health and safety risk - if the tyres are set alight (which has occurred with vehicles in this location in the past), serious air pollution would result.

I, too, reported the tyres to the council (ref. no. given to me was 513808) but I note that the tyres are still there. (I think I rang them on Thurs 19/11). Yesterday rubbish had been dumped too!
