Shoes on telephone wire

There have been a pair of shoes strung up over Grove road for the past 4-5 months. Please can these be removed because it is amazing how much it cheapens the feel of the area. The shoes can be seen hanging over the road opposite the shops.

I was sent an incident number by the council as a result of logging it with this site but nothing has been done about this issue.
