Motorists ignoring signs

Reported in the Road traffic signs category anonymously at 19:26, Mon 9 November 2009
Sent to Barking and Dagenham Borough Council 3 minutes later

There are "no motor vehicles" signs here, but many motorists are ignoring them and driving past. They're very near the police station, and they don't do anything - I suppose it's down to the council.

On Sunday I saw motorists galore ignoring the signs in full view of police and/or CEOs.

I have seen traffic wardens issuing tickets to cars parked in the car free zone - one of which was on the footway.

I have seen traffic wardens enforcing the restriction. Sometimes there are fences across the roadway, but they don't stop only motor vehicles
