Litter not cleaned from pavement and road

The street is covered in discarded wrappers, boxes and papers. Arun DC are scheduled to clean this area three times a week. If that were being carried out to an acceptable level the litter could not build up to this level. Please ensure the street is cleaned and that quality assurance is the objective.

There is no consistent cleaning of litter in this street, even though the council acknowledge that it is a busy pedestrian route. In Arundel, where I spend a lot of time, the street cleaners take a lot more care to ensure the job is done well. Here in Queen Street they seem to go through the motions instead of ensuring the street is left really clean.
