Repeated Flooding at Bus Stop

Reported in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 20:03, Mon 2 November 2009
Sent to Aberdeenshire Council 2 minutes later

Once again the poor/blocked/ineffective drains on the new link road at Portlethen have failed to cope (not due to the exceptiona rain - as this happens regularly here). In particular the water stretched more than half way across the road at the bus stop opposite Schoolhill Drive & the big pond formed in the usual place halfway along the main stretch - these need to be investigated and fixed before their is an accident - caused by individual swerving to miss these or driving thro' at speed without seeing them ! (LOCATION MARK AS BEST AS POSSIBLE, BUT MAPS OUT OF DATE)

Usual story - no action, no update/contact from the council. Beginning to question how useful this site really is?

As before council say it's not their problem (despite the fact this now a main road into Portlethen) & SMH reckon their isn't any flooding !
