Cars blocking car park & pavements

Reported in the Car parking category anonymously at 23:44, Tue 27 October 2009
Sent to Newport Council less than a minute later

Cars are constantly parking on the kerbs of Bristol Packet Wharf and making it very difficult to get to the private car park or out of the art centre. Also cars are parking badly at the entrance off the main road and constantly blocking entry to the pay and display car park. I have had to drive elsewhere on numerous occasions because i cannot get into the pay and display car park as early as 7:15am. Surely the council must act and put yellow lines to stop this.

Well the cones and security guard were there for about a fortnight and suprise suprise they're now gone and all the cars are back again. They're even blocking the kerbs for pedestrians now too.

Well at least the police keep an eye on the area often and anyone parking badly or over the dropped kerb are being ticketed. There are still the odd few cars parking badly at the entrance to the pay and display car park making it difficult to get through but it's a little bit better.
