Despite many promises by Carmarthenshire Council the Pavement planned for the top end of Llandeilo Rd.is still not finished. Worse still is the mess the Council have left the area which is dangerous in places. I have simply had to stop walking there as it is so slippery in places especially after rain and one garden wall has collapsed onto the road. The cars continue to speed along the road perhaps not realising people are walking along the road due to a lack of a pavement. The Council refuse to take the residents compaints seriously.

The situation is DANGEROUS along Llandeilo Road. I rarely drive along the road now as it is so risky.I haven't walked along there for months it is simply too dangerous as the cars race along the road with no regard for pedestrians. I dread to think of the amount of Public money The Council have wasted. Hundreds of thousands of pounds have been spent buying part of residents gardens along the Street to form a pavement and starting the work but it appears they have abandoned the scheme without any thought of consulting residents. As residents we have been left with a Street thats a disgrace with none of the promised improvements carried out. Public Servants!! They don't deserve their jobs.

Well surprise surprise the good news first is that the Council have appeared and are starting to put right the damage they have done. Bad news is that they have scrapped the idea of putting in a pavement. This decision has been made after the Council have wasted vast amounts of money buying part of the residents front gardens, building walls, repairing railings and planning the scheme, the purpose of which was to provide a pavement. Yet again a prime example of a Council wasting Tax Payers money and who is accountable?
