Confetti Outside Chichester Register Office

Reported in the Street cleaning category by Daniel Bird at 18:44, Mon 19 October 2009
Sent to Chichester District Council 1 minute later

I often notice that there is a large amount of detritus degrading the street scene around Chichester Register Office. This is particularly bad following wedding ceremonies, when the pavement is often covered with confetti for several days. This is both unsightly and dangerous, and is a problem which needs to be resolved. Whether WSCC need to be made responsible for clearing this litter or whether CDC need to conduct more regular street sweeping, I would be appreciative of some response to this dirty and ongoing problem.

Problem still occurs. Had an acknowledgement from an officer at the council, but no other follow-up as yet.
