Murphys Builders, who are currently renovating the inside of residents flats in Simmons House, have used the residents rubbish chutes which is meant for domestic waste ONLY, to dump their building materials, i.e., bits of wood, eletric cable reels, material packaging etc. This has caused the rubbish chutes to be blocked up and unuseable by the residents. The problem has been reported to the caretaker 4 days ago and has tried unblocking the chutes but cannot, the caretaker has reported it to his supervisors and still the chutes remained blocked. Murphys Builders have their own skip on site but it seems they can't be bothered to take their rubbish down the stairs. Now the domestic rubbish has started building up outside the chute areas which will attract flies, mice and rats.
