Sent to Bolton Borough Council 4 minutes later
Recently l was driving along Slack Fold lane towards Heywood Scool / Morris Green and the the pointwhere the road goes between Holme Fold Farm and another building l came across oncoming traffic and as l was travelling on my left my car hit a hole on the nearside casuing a massive bang front and wheels. Immediately l pulled over to check for damage, amazingly none was visible but as l was worried had the car checked and discovered that both alloy wheels had been dented on the inside face (apparently the weakest side) plus the rubber spring seat on the front suspension unit was split. Due to this damage being caused by a hole that having checked on the internet you're already aware of l intend to claim for damage due to negligence in keeping the roads safe ! l also ride a motorbike and if l hit this particular hole would certainly have fell off. Pictures are available of the damage to my car and the hole which is 5" deep ! Ps Seemingly only one picture can be posted here, many more are available showing the exact location and the depth
