Dog Fouling of the pavement

This seems to be a problem that is very prevelant in the area. The corner of Averley way at the junction with Sheffield Road is particularly bad and has been like this for some time. There is also dog mess up and down Sheffield Road, although this is removed frequently by residents who find it right outside there property. I've also noticed this problem on the Birdwell Common Park. The warning signs are no detterent and are not very noticable. There is one on the lamp post near the bus stop warning of a £50 fine. I know of no instances of this being applied and have seen no publicity drawing peoples attention to this. Would some one please investigate the problem and take action. Thank you.
