Estate agents signs remaining illegally

2 estate agents' signs in the front garden of Manor Lea (295 Green Lanes) have remained there more than 2 weeks after the relevant properties have been sold or let. My understanding is that the agents in question are committing a criminal offence in leaving them there. Could they be informed and/or prosecuted?
