Fencing around recreation area

Sent to Cambridge City Council 1 minute later

The recreation area has been abandoned in an unfinished state. There is no fence surrounding the equipment. There is no fence between the open ground and Arbury Road. There is nowhere for parents/guardians to sit within reach of the facilities. There is no bin within the recreation area.

The result: lots of litter, dogs come into the play area foul and threaten children, ball games are played next to a busy road. Teenagers use equipment to meet and socialise because there's nowhere else to sit.

Parents/carers forced to stand up.

Please could this recreation area be improved with the safety and enjoyment of its users in mind?

There is a hedge separating the playground from the road, it's true. But the issue of dogs coming into the recreation area remains, and there is still nowhere to sit down.
