Rubbish, drug detritus & dog excrement

Wellington St & the entrance to the park is a dumping ground for the discarded wrappers, bottlesand cigarettes of Farnworth sixth form students, further along nearer Gas Street there are regularly rolls of tin foil,polythene bags left by drug users/dealers, discarded needles etc behind the park wall and bags of dog excrement and emptied ashtrays by thoughtful dog-walkers. At the other end nearer to Albert Road there are regularly seen ripped open rubbish bags along the street on the pavement and behind the Texaco garage.
