General litter problem

It would be nice to see someone from the council picking up litter in this road. It is used as a cut through and bottles and cans are regualary strewn along the length of the street. It is particualary worse friday and saturday after the pubs close.

I’m sorry if I am taking up your time as this is not really your problem but I don’t know what else to do. The person who delivers the Star newspaper always leaves it by our doorstep even though we have a clearly showing letterbox, and I am frequently having to pick up loose sheets of paper and inserts which have blown all over the garden and along the path. I have written to the Star newspaper as this has been going on since July and they have not bothered to reply let alone just call up the person who delivers. As I see it the Star newspaper is responsible for dumping litter all over my property. I would be grateful if the council could be informed although I don’t know if there is anything anyone can do. Thankyou, and keep up the good work.

@Anon, re:Star Complain to the newspaper. This has nothing to do with the council.

We no longer get ANY free newspapers and all are unable to delivery through out letterbox. Call the newspaper, speak to the person in charge of distribution.
