Broken fencing

Reported by Andrew Hunton at 22:06, Mon 28 September 2009
Sent to Haringey Borough Council 4 minutes later

The fence alongside The Park has been broken in several places for some time despite local residents reporting it to the council. The space behind the fence is 'often' used as an open toilet. When will it be repaired to avoid this happening?

Still no action!! Is it wishful thinking that the new the New Year will bring some action.

Perhaps Haringey has become immune to Fixmystreet. Perhaps updates should be sent to remind them of that repairs are not self mending.

How about it Fixmystreet?

Having praised Haringey for fixing the broken fencing although not quite finishing the job, It has again been broken in another section and the main posts have broken away from the concrete fixings.

Well done Haringey for the repair. However it would appear the vandalism this time was caused by people from the Hillcrest estate taking a short cut to archway road as there is a broken fence onf the estate above the recently broken fence of The Park which I understand is due for repair. Unless this is repaired swiftly it is highly likely that the fence of The Park will be broken again. The problem requires joined up thinking!! Maybe the estate could benefit with a path through although this could cause other problems but worth looking into along with other possible solutions.
