The council have refused to touch the trees until next year. In the meantime one of the trees is still overhanging our boundary by about 5/6 feet. The oak tree (approx. 50ft high) continues to drain water from the property's foundations and thereby causing cracks in the superstructure.

Mr Browning from the Council rang to say that in his opinion these trees did not need to be pruned at this time. We disagree. The roots of the oak tree in particular are now interfering with our property's foundations and causing cracks to appear inside the house.
