Road noise

The noise from the road can be heard all over Sherfield on loddon. There have been repeated road works adjacent to the island on the A33 increasing the road noise to the village. I understand that in terms of Human Rights Law Sherfield is entittled to enjoy quiet possesion of its homes. Why hasn't our village got fencing which reduces the noise?

this has been a problem to this village for a long time. Basingstoke Council do little that is in the interest of the Council Tax payers. Hants County Council did nothing when Basingstoke Council sent them a message now there's a surprise!
