Dog dirt & litter picking ignored by Serco!

Reported in the Dog fouling category by Richard Laurence at 16:22, Sun 20 September 2009
Sent to Breckland District Council 2 minutes later

The neglected area of grass at the edge of Queens Square is increasingly becoming a dog toilet. I am informed by the Land Registry this is the responsibility of Breckland District Council and I would be grateful if they could both remove litter and deter people allowing their dos to use it as a toilet. Thank you.

visit made 6/10/09. No evidence of litter or dog fouling on area identified. Leaves noticed on path opposite the bank though, these will be removed by contractor.

Despite having an email from someone at Breckland District Council telling me that Serco have been told to clean this area, obviously it hasn't happened or Serco are ignoring the people who pay their invoices!

Once again this situation has simply been ignored. By Serco or Breckland District Council is irrelevant, the result is the same!

No, as usual, either the FixMyStreet website is being ignored, or the Council Taxpayer (me) is being ignored. I don't expect either the Council of Serco to respond as they should, they're making too much money to care...

You will note this report was made in September 2009. NOTHING has changed in that time. In Octoner I got an email from someone at Breckland District Council saying; "If dog fouling or other litter is on this area, Serco should be clearing it up." Of course it hasn't happened... I would like to know why!

This problem was originally reported more than a year ago. I don't expect it to be ever addressed by Breckland District Council

it's 28 weeks since I originally flagged this problem. There has been no change and Serco still don't pick up litter from this location..... I don't expect Breckland District Council to do anything. After all, if I refuse to pay my Council Tax, they can legally force me to pay. What I do think is that here is probably a successful claim for discrimination, and abuse of my human rights....
