Removal of dead trees

Reported in the Trees category by terry street at 10:16, Sat 19 September 2009
Sent to Coventry City Council 4 minutes later

On the strip of land behind the garages of the whitefriars owned flats in charminster avenue and in front of the council maintained verge to the footpath access to jacquard close some trees have died, others have lost branches and other fallen onto the garage roof(see photo). The residents try to maintain this patch of land and have replanted shrubs and trees but cannot deal with the larger trees. Is it possible they can be felled and the bulky rubbish removed? Please. (Whitefriars were good enough to clear the accumulated dumped rubbish and vegitation away following a letter in Jan 2008 about the eyesore it had become. The city council have helped provide trees for replanting)

Nothing has been done nearly 2 years later, more trees have fallen down. Whitefriars Housing said they would look at it and that would remove the trees.
