Road Damage on Junction
Reported in the Potholes category by Mansur Darlington at 14:27, Wed 16 September 2009
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 3 minutes later
Potholes have developed in the dashed white lines on junction between the A36 and The Avenue leading to Claverton and the University of Bath. A combination of the damage, rain-washed debris and a smooth manhole-cover make leaving the A36 at this junction dangerous for powered two-wheelers. This damage was reported to B&NES Transport in March 2009, and transmitted on to the highways inspector who 'has issued an order to our contractor to undertake patching repair works to the carriageway surface'. No repairs have taken place (at September 2009).

Updates
The pot holes don't seem to be healing up of their own accord.
The problem has not be fixed at 4th January 2010.
The problem was taken up, and reported, by a very helpful local councillor. I recently received news from him that the road had been mended. Unfortunately it was another piece of road somewhere in Bath. Therefore, no remedy at February 2010
I understand from the local councillor that the damage is due for repair in April 2010
