Footpath needs attention - plus clean up

Reported in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 17:08, Tue 15 September 2009
Sent to Tower Hamlets Borough Council 2 minutes later

Whole section of footpath on Bethnal Green Road between Squirries Street and Turin Street needs attention with many cracked, broken and uneven paving stones. Also bins on pavement just outside Gourmet San and other eateries nearby around bins need a good hose down - layers of dirt, grease and grime with an unpleasant smell. New bins maybe? As the ones there are old and filthy. Not good for passers by or for the businesses there themselves.

Wrote to council about cracked paving who said that paving is not cracked enough to pose risk to public (which I disagree with) - and no funds to fix anyway. Problem with bins not fixed as they are still caked in grime and grease as is pavement around.
