Bollards on island

An island with 2 bollards on that light up at night cause 2 distinct problems.1. the light from the bollards is very bright and shines in through my windows disturbing the family. 2. the bollards are so big that when you pull out onto road the bollards hide moving traffic, there have been a number of occassions when an accident has nearly occurred due to the bollards creating a blind spot. i would like the lights removed or made less bright and the size/design changed as it will cause an accident. thankyou.
