Traffic lights too long on red

Sent to Hackney Borough Council less than a minute later

Turning right into Mare Street from Well Street, the lights hold at red for at least 5 minutes, whilst traffic turning left, or entering Well Street carries on for several phases. This causes drivers and cyclists to think the lights are broken and so to jump them. There will be a serious accident because of this before too long.
