Tree obstructing view at junction

There is a large tree at the edge of the pavement at the junction or fylde road and Mauldeth Road Heaton Mersey. The tree has a lot of bushy growth around the bottom that makes it very difficult to see oncoming traffic when you are trying to turn right out of fylde road . This area is very busy in the morning with lots of traffic for nearby schools and Freshfields Nursery . Can this tree have a trim so we can see more clearly? Thanks

Despite receiving an email from the council 2 weeks ago to say the problem would be dealt with within five days ... the tree is still the same
