Reported in the Car parking category anonymously at 12:42, Thu 23 July 2009
Sent to Vale of White Horse District Council 2 minutes later

Three private vehicles daily park for the entire working day on the double yellow lines at this corner/point in Old Station Yard Abingdon. Can something please be done to either stop vehicles parking on the double yellow lines, or, explain why The Vale of White Horse DC allows this illegal parking to take place daily; to the detriment of pedestrians

The cars still park in the same place every working day, obstructing other vehicles from entering/leaving Station Yard.

The fault is that the yellow lines do not comply with the highyway code, they need re-painting or they are not enforcable, proper end markers, no breaks and even spacing or else thay can be ignored.
